ScreenDaily reports that The Works International has boarded world sales rights to Cat Villiers-produced (No Man’s Land) drama The Last Photograph, based on the book by Simon Astaire.
Danny Huston (pictured above in 30 Days of Night, “American Horror Story”) will star in and direct the feature, also starring Sarita Choudhury (“Homeland”), Stacy Martin (Nymphomaniac) and newcomer Jonah Hauer-King.
Astaire, who also produces, has adapted his own novel “about a man who risks everything to track down the thieves who stole his most prized possession.”
Currently in production in London, The Works is introducing the project to buyers in Cannes.
