WORLD OF DEATH Ep. 93 – Monogamy / Match Made In Heaven

Published

on

Love is in the air Friends and Neighbors,

Welcome back to the World of Death! This week we bring you a pair of horrific scenes straight from the deepest recesses of that beloved institution of dating. As the man said, “Any love is good love, so I took what I could get” and the women in today’s episode are following this mandate. Romance is always a game of cat and mouse, sometimes you are the cat and, well…

In the segment, “Match made in Heaven,” Joshua Devor and Andy Parker bring to you a real slice of life. A classic tale, boy meets girl and falls into romantic bliss. For the first time in a while, this boy has found a girl that he can take home to mother. And mother is just as excited to see the new addition to her son’s life for sure. She has put on her finest dress and set out the nice china. In a dinner scene that draws homage from both Alfred Hitchcock and Tobe Hooper, we witness one of life’s little rituals we can all relate to. You can almost feel the trepidation and anticipation in his voice as the excitement of this meeting of mother and girlfriend builds to fruition. If only father was home from work on time…

In the later segment, “Monogamy” we get a not-so-gentle reminder of the need to remain faithful to our significant other, especially on one’s anniversary! When the young man in this story decides to add a third wheel to the night’s romantic adventures, he soon discovers that he should have run this by his sweetheart first. In fact, things don’t look like smooth sailing for this new girl in the harbor, she may find herself shipping out of this story much sooner rather than later. Our would be Polyamorist may just learn that his lady is a one-man-woman demanding a one-woman-man. But never fear, this tale of temptation to romantic exploration is not headed to unbound tragedy, in fact it looks like our couple will be bound together for a long, long time after all.

These are our tales of romance and dalliance today. Please, share this among your friends, and remember that we offer a new sampling of twisted tales twice a week.

Anna Faris & Regina Hall Promise ‘Scary Movie’ Will “Offend Everyone;” New Images Revealed

The Wayans are out to cancel the Cancel Culture with Scary Movie, and the cast assures it will do just that.

“They sort of have an across-the-board style,” Anna Faris tells EW. “It’s always been a part of the Wayans Brothers, their electricity. ‘Can we offend you? Will you still love us? Come on, you still love us, don’t you?'”

Regina Hall concurs, promising the “boundary-pushing” sixth installment in the horror parody franchise will “offend everyone.”

EW has shared a batch of behind-the-scenes images from Scary Movie, which hits theaters June 5 via Paramount.

Faris and Hall are joined by fellow franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, and Jon Abrahams in the legacy sequel.

The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.

Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs from a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).

The film will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and everyfinal chapterthat absolutely isn’t final.

Scary Movie launched in 2000, followed by Scary Movie 2 in 2001. The Wayans’ involvement ended there, but the series continued with 2003’s Scary Movie 3, 2006’s Scary Movie 4, and 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
