Watch: Murder, Vengeance, and Evil Crabs!? [World of Death]

Published

on

Hello, friends and neighbors.

This is the time we often look back at the year and think about the things we have done and are thankful before a great meal. Feast your fangs into this dish, a delightful delicacy of horror! The subjects of our stories today are certain to reflect on their life choices. Witness how one simple action can bring terrifying outcomes…

Our first film is a true cavalcade of cautionary tales. In Redhead directed by Joe Zerull we catch up with your run-of-the-mill killer for hire who is just trying to do the job. First, take care of the killing and then dispose of the body in the lake… as one does. Of course, things don’t always go smoothly. It reminds me of that old Las Vegas adage about disposing of bodies in the desert – you have to have the hole dug first. Otherwise, complications will arise and you spend the whole night digging holes. Our killer learns this in the most frustrating way possible and ends up leaving a trail of bodies all the way to the client.

Redhead is beautiful. The film has amazing camerawork. The angles tell a story that is hinted at that comes to full satisfaction in the film’s final thrilling moments. Between the camera work, the music and the color- you will thoroughly be drawn into this lavish corner of the World of Death.

Herman is a shocking story about sympathy for the sinister. In Eric Bodge’s story about a young child’s newfound toy, we once again see how even the simplest actions can have serious repercussions. Evan is a youth who finds what seems like an action figure left at the beach. Herman, as the toy becomes known, is not well-liked by his family and friends. Still, Evan retains Herman as a new toy. As play ensues, we witness multiple people speak ill of the toy – and that is never a good idea. From Talking Tina, to Chucky and Annabelle, it is never a good idea to mistreat a toy and the one who loves to play with it. Pay close attention to how the things done to Herman have a way of happening to others.

The story unfolds and everyone involved will certainly consider their actions.

So there we go fiends, two tales that exhibit in the most horrific way how one action can affect so many more things. I hope you enjoy these dishes as much as we did. Remember to keep coming back for more World of Death.

Anna Faris & Regina Hall Promise ‘Scary Movie’ Will “Offend Everyone;” New Images Revealed

The Wayans are out to cancel the Cancel Culture with Scary Movie, and the cast assures it will do just that.

“They sort of have an across-the-board style,” Anna Faris tells EW. “It’s always been a part of the Wayans Brothers, their electricity. ‘Can we offend you? Will you still love us? Come on, you still love us, don’t you?'”

Regina Hall concurs, promising the “boundary-pushing” sixth installment in the horror parody franchise will “offend everyone.”

EW has shared a batch of behind-the-scenes images from Scary Movie, which hits theaters June 5 via Paramount.

Faris and Hall are joined by fellow franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, and Jon Abrahams in the legacy sequel.

The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.

Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs from a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).

The film will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and everyfinal chapterthat absolutely isn’t final.

Scary Movie launched in 2000, followed by Scary Movie 2 in 2001. The Wayans’ involvement ended there, but the series continued with 2003’s Scary Movie 3, 2006’s Scary Movie 4, and 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
