I honestly don’t think I could tell you how many people I’ve seen “die” throughout my movie watching career. Definitely in the thousands, at least when it comes to on-screen kills. The vast majority of these deaths are obviously forgettable but many of them stand out in my memory, thanks to various circumstances. Maybe it’s because I love the movie so much that I remember tons of little details. Maybe it’s the death itself that is memorable while the rest of the movie has left my memory.
