We all know the stereotypical roles in horror films, yeah? The jock, the bimbo, the final girl, etc… These are tried and true roles that everyone recognizes and appreciates. But what about other roles? What about the characters that don’t necessarily have names but instead are used as background fodder. Maybe they get the axe at the beginning, maybe they’re an incidental death in the middle, or maybe they last all the way to the credits!

This time around, I got the “Character Who Dies At The Very Beginning…“. Great… Here’s the reasoning:
Unfortunately, you’re the character who dies at the very beginning of the film. When trying to escape a never-ending forest you were lured into the previous night, you got caught. On the bright side, you didn’t die in vain – your death provided an exposition for the audience watching!
