I fucking love Mark Pellington‘s films, especially The Mothman Prophecies and Arlington Road, which pulled off one of the most shocking twists in the history of cinema.
Next up for Pellington is TriStar Pictures’ The Trap, a twisted thriller about a reclusive author who sets the perfect trap for her sister’s murderer after she becomes convinced she has seen the killer on TV.
The film is an adaptation of the Melanie Raabe novel that Oscar-nominated Carol screenwriter Phyllis Nagy is adapting, reports Deadline. The Cantillon Company’s Elizabeth Cantillon and Immersive Pictures’ Josh Bratman are producing.
