“Science is neat, but I’m afraid it’s not very forgiving.”
The cast for Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters just keeps getting better, as Dougherty himself took to Twitter today to announce that Randy Havens has joined the cast. Havens played lovable science teacher Mr. Clarke in “Stranger Things,” which is interesting because fellow star Millie Bobby Brown is also on board the sequel!
Everyone welcome @MrRandyHavens to @MonarchSciences. @GodzillaMovie

Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah are expected to be in the film.
The cast also includes Ken Watanabe (Godzilla), Aisha Hinds (“Underground”), Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones”), Kyle Chandler (Super 8), Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring), Sally Hawkins (Godzilla) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton).
Dougherty wrote the script with Zach Shields.
Godzilla: King of Monsters hits theaters on March 22, 2019, with the monster mash-up Godzilla vs. Kong slated to bow the following year on May 22, 2020.
