New ‘mother!’ Footage Invites Them ALL In
Black Swan‘s Darren Aronofsky is going full horror with the psychological mind fuck mother!, which stars not only Jennifer Lawrence, but also Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domnhall Gleeson, Ed Harris and Kristen Wiig.
The entire project has been shrouded in secrecy, only revealing that the film follows a couple’s relationship that is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.
While the full trailer has already been revealed, Paramount Pictures shared a new TV Spot that ramps up the terror of the home invasion. Instead of people breaking in, Aronofsky appears to put a new spin by having them be invited to be guests in their house. It’s like a slasher meets an old-school vampire film; shit, maybe that’s the twist?
Let them in on September 15, 2017.

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
