Earlier this morning Universal Pictures shared the very first trailer for Insidious: The Last Key, the fourth film in the franchise helmed this time by The Taking of Deborah Logan‘s Adam Robitel. We’ve now unlocked a way scarier international trailer that’s jam-packed with different footage and boasts a much more horror-centric score. We’ve also come across two official images shared above and below.

Josh Stewart, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson, Kirk Acevedo, Bruce Davison, Spencer Locke and Caitlin Gerard also star.
The film is written by co-creator Leigh Whannell (Saw), who wrote the trilogy and directed Chapter 3. Insidious regulars Jason Blum (The Purge series, Get Out), Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity) and co-creator James Wan (The Conjuring, Furious 7) produced.
Insidious: The Last Key returns to The Further on January 5, 2018.
