The Creepiest Easter Egg to Look for When You Watch ‘IT’ at Home
Pay close attention next time you watch Andy Muschietti’s IT.
Ahead of the DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD release next January, IT hits Digital on December 19, which means you only have to wait another couple weeks before heading back to Derry to hang out with the coolest kids this side of Hawkins, Indiana.
You surely noticed the nod to Tim Curry’s Pennywise in the “clown room” scene, and fans of Sleepwalkers may have even spotted a blue car that looked mighty familiar. But there’s one creepy Easter egg you might’ve missed, as I personally did.
In the scene where the kids are talking in an alley, patching up Ben after his run-in with the Bowers gang, Pennywise appears in a wall mural, watching their every move…
Keep your eyes peeled when you revisit IT in the coming weeks!
IT arrives on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack/Blu-ray Combo Pack/DVD on January 9, 2018. Best Buy will be getting an exclusive Steelbook, while Target is getting their own version that includes a lenticular cover and “Welcome to Derry” postcards.
Special Features include:
- Pennywise Lives! – Discover how Bill Skarsgård prepared to portray the primordial creature known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown
- The Losers’ Club – Get up close and personal with the teenage stars of “IT” as they bond together during the production,
