There’s a Post-Credits Scene in ‘Hellraiser: Judgment’…

Published

on

We have such spoilers to tell you. You have been warned.

Yesterday saw the straight-to-video release of Hellraiser: Judgment, the tenth installment in the franchise that was directed by Gary J. Tunnicliffe, the series’ longtime makeup artist. Not surprisingly, it’s another stinker in a series begging for a proper, big budget reboot; but to the film’s credit, it does end on a pretty interesting note.

Long story short, Pinhead kills a beautiful angel his forces of evil had been working for, and his punishment for the crime is one even he may not be able to endure: he’s banished back to *our* world, where he’s presumably going to live out his final days in the worst way possible: as a normal, boring human being, of course!

But what happens to The Auditor, Pinhead’s right hand man? Does he too get banished to the mortal world? It’s unclear at the end of the film, but sticking around through the credits reveals an extra scene that clarifies The Auditor’s fate.

In the scene, we catch up with The Auditor in Germany, where he’s found a new house to use as his hellish home base. Two young men on bicycles ride up to the house and knock on the door, humorously looking to spread the word of God. The Auditor lets them in… and we can probably make a pretty good guess about what happens from there.

Perhaps The Auditor will restore Pinhead to his former glory?

The new film tells the story of three detectives as they struggle to catch a killer, but instead find themselves thrust into the depths of Pinhead’s hellacious landscape.

“Three detectives trying to stop a diabolical serial killer are sucked into a maze of otherworldly horror, where hellish denizens including the Auditor, the Assessor, and the Jury await to pass judgment.”

Including a cameo by horror icon Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Hellraiser: Judgment stars Paul T. Taylor, Gary J. Tunnicliffe, Damon Carney, Randy Wayne, Alexandra Harris, John Gulager, Mike Jay Regan, Diane Goldner, Andi Powers, Jeff Fenter, Helena Grace Donald, and Grace Montie (read about their roles).

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
