Back in June we learned that Fangoria’s film shingle had acquired author Grady Hendrix’s (Paperbacks from Hell) spec Satanic Panic, and Chelsea Stardust was subsequently tapped to direct. Today brings casting news, as the film loads up with familiar faces.
Deadline reports that Rebecca Romijn, Hayley Griffith, Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day), Arden Myrin (Insatiable), Jerry O’Connell (Carter), AJ Bowen (The Sacrament), Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever), Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords Of Salem), Hannah Stocking (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween), Michael Polish (Some Kind Of Hate), Whitney Moore (House Of Demons) and Skeeta Jenkins (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich) have all joined the cast.
Whitney Moore (pictured above) is the host of BD’s own This Week in Horror!
Satanic Panic is described as a dark comedy in a supernatural setting…
A pizza delivery girl (Griffith) at the end of her financial rope has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists (led by Romijn) in need of a virgin sacrifice.
Hendrix wrote the film with Ted Geoghegan (We Are Still Here).
Dallas Sonnier will produce with Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworm and Cinestate’s Amanda Presmyk. Phil Nobile Jr. is on board to executive produce.
