With no shortage of genre gems under their belt, including The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Green Room, Hereditary and The Witch, production/distribution company A24 has been a big time favorite in the horror world in particular, so we figured you guys would be interested to hear that they’ve entered into an agreement to produce films alongside Apple.
Yes, *the* Apple.
As reported by Indiewire, “A24 and Apple have entered an agreement that will see the film studio produce multiple features for Apple over the course of several years.”
Of course, A24 doesn’t exclusively deal in horror films, as their stock has also risen with films like Room, Moonlight and this year’s Mid90s. In fact, as the site notes, 2018 has been A24’s most financially successful year in the company’s six-year history, so it comes as no big surprise that a power player like Apple wants to be on board that particular ship.
No details yet on the sorts of projects Apple and A24 will be partnering on.
