Death makes a killer comeback next Valentine’s Day.
Jessica Rothe leads the returning cast of Happy Death Day 2U, the follow-up to Blumhouse’s 2017 slasher hit of riveting, repeating twists and comic turns. This time, our hero Tree Gelbman (Rothe) discovers that dying over and over was easier than the dangers that lie ahead. The trailer has been playing in theaters since October, but it’s now available right here online!
The first Happy Death Day was a total win, combining an inventive slasher movie concept with a fun performance from Jessica Rothe to create one of the better post-’80s slasher films we’ve seen. Next year’s sequel looks to bring its own little inventive twist to the proceedings; the body count is being raised, like all good slasher sequels, as Tree’s friends are now also dying.

Jason Blum once again produces and Christopher Landon returns to write and direct this next chapter, while Happy Death Day executive producers Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi are newly joined by EP Samson Mucke (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse).
