The buzz words are flying in like a hurricane at the ongoing CinemaCon where Paramount Pictures just debuted the first ever footage from Alexandre Aja‘s latest horror entry, Crawl.

Kaya Scodelario will play a young woman who, while struggling to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house and fighting for her life against Florida’s most savage and feared predators.
CinemaCon attendees are raving about the footage shown, calling it “bloody and chaotic,” and likening it to “47 Meters Down meets Jaws.” Sounds right in line with something we’d expect from the director of High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha, and Mirrors.
