Hulu continues their year-long horror series “Into the Dark” with three more holidays-gone-horror.

Bloody Disgusting has the first details and stills (above and below) for the eighth episode, All That We Destroy, which was directed by Chelsea Stardust (Satanic Panic) from a screenplay by Sean Keller and Jim Agnew.

Set to air on Friday, May 3rd, the Mother’s Day-themed episode follows a geneticist who fears that her son may be turning into a serial killer, and creates a group of clones in an attempt to cure him of his psychopathic tendencies by allowing him to relive the murder of his first victim.

It stars Israel Broussard, Aurora Perrineau, Dora Madison, with Frank Whaley and Samantha Mathis.

On Friday, June 7th Hulu will premiere They Come Knocking, helmed by Adam Mason, who previously directed the fantastic April Fool’s-themed “I’m Just F**king with You”.

In the Father’s Day-themed episode, after losing his wife to cancer, a father takes his two daughters on a road trip where he finds his family in the crosshairs of terrifying supernatural entities.

The episode stars Clayne Crawford, Josephine Langford, Lia Mchugh and Robyn Lively. It was written by Shane & Carey Van Dyke.

Lastly, Hulu celebrated the Fourth of July with the Gigi Saul Guerrero-directed Independence Day-themed Culture Shock.

This thriller follows a young Mexican woman in pursuit of the American Dream, who crosses illegally into the United States, only to find herself in an American nightmare.

It stars Martha Higareda, Richard Cabral, Shawn Ashmore, Barbara Crampton and Creed Bratton, and was written by Gigi, James Benson, and Efren Hernandez.

Filming is underway on The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell’s Wolf Man for Universal and Blumhouse, which will be howling its way into theaters on January 17, 2025.

Deadline reports that Matilda Firth (Disenchanted) is the latest actor to sign on, joining Christopher Abbott (Poor Things),  Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel), and Sam Jaeger.

The project will mark Whannell’s second monster movie and fourth directing collaboration with Blumhouse Productions (The Invisible Man, Upgrade, Insidious: Chapter 3).

Wolf Man stars Christopher Abbott as a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator.

Writers include Whannell & Corbett Tuck as well as Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo.

Jason Blum is producing the film. Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner and Whannell are executive producers. Wolf Man is a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production.

In the wake of the failed Dark Universe, Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man has been the only real success story for the Universal Monsters brand, which has been struggling with recent box office flops including the comedic Renfield and period horror movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Giving him the keys to the castle once more seems like a wise idea, to say the least.
