We’ve already seen the final trailer we’re going to be seeing here in the States for Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but Godzilla-Movies.com brings two new Japanese trailers to our attention today that are home to some new bits of footage, along with snippets from the footage that has thus far only been released by IMAX and HBO.
If you don’t want a pretty kickass reveal to be spoiled, maybe avoid both of these.
The sequel takes place five years after the events in the first film…
“When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”
Zhang Ziyi, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Bradley Whitford, Ken Watanabe, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance and Aisha Hinds star.
Dougherty directed from a script he wrote with Zach Shields.
Godzilla returns on May 31, 2019.
