IMP Awards shares this Middle Eastern poster art for A24’s Midsommar, director Ari Aster‘s now ultra-hyped follow-up to Hereditary in which a couple, on the verge of breaking up, visit their friend’s rural hometown for its fabled mid-summer festival.
Our very own William Bibbiani attended the first ever screening in Los Angeles. In his review, he writes that “Midsommar is a gorgeous, emotionally overwhelming mixed bag,” while others have declared it a horror masterpiece likened to Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Aster’s new film also stars Jack Reynor, Will Poulter and Florence Pugh. The festivities begin on July 3.
