A new UK poster for Ready or Not, directed by V/H/S and Southbound‘s Radio Silence, makes it pretty clear that the film’s title is in reference to a game of hide-and-seek, one in which Samar Weaving‘s character must survive a night with her new inlaws.
The film follows a young bride (Samara Weaving) as she joins her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (played by Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.
