What happens when the heroes become the villains?
Back in 2005, Marvel Comics launched the five-issue miniseries Marvel Zombies, set in an alternate universe wherein an infection has turned many of Marvel’s heroes into undead flesh-eaters. That original miniseries spawned sequels and spinoffs (including one that brought Ash Williams into the world of Marvel!), but what it’s unlikely to spawn is a live-action movie.
As awesome as it would be to see Marvel Zombies up on the big screen, we’re not holding out much hope on that happening anytime soon. But we can at least pretend, right?
Over on YouTube, Marvel fan Billy Crammer cut together a pretty awesome concept trailer for a Marvel Zombies movie, using clips from MCU films as well as World War Z. Crammer’s clever editing work paints a pretty cool picture of what a Marvel Zombies movie could look like, and we thought you’d get a kick out of it. Check out the fan-made concept trailer below!
