M.A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller, the writers of 2015’s brilliant slasher-comedy The Final Girls, have written and will be co-directing a brand new untitled horror film for Miramax, THR reports tonight. The film will be produced by Kevin Williamson (Scream), with Russell Crowe set to star as “a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a horror film.”
“His estranged daughter wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.”
Joshua John Miller, it’s fun to note, played the young vampire Homer in Near Dark!
Williamson will be producing alongside Ben Fast and Bill Block.
