Long black hair was the unofficial symbol of the J-horror craze and Columbia Pictures announces its return on the official poster for the R-rated The Grudge, which brings a new curse to theaters on January 3, 2020. Find the new art below.
The Nicolas Pesce-directed film follows a detective (Andrea Riseborough) who investigates a serious of suspicious deaths all stemming from one house.
Once she enters, the curse latches onto her and won’t let go.
Sam Raimi‘s latest production also features horror veteran Lin Shaye (Insidious) with Demian Bichir (The Nun), John Cho (“The Exorcist”), Betty Gilpin (“Glow”), Jacki Weaver and Frankie Faison.
