On the brink of tonight’s release, Columbia Pictures shared with Bloody a brand new clip from their R-rated The Grudge, which shows costar Lin Shaye (Insidious) playing peekaboo with an imaginary friend named “Melinda”. A quick look on IMDB shows Zoe Fish playing Melinda Landers – a “curse” we’ve seen in previous trailers.
The Nicolas Pesce-directed film follows a detective (Andrea Riseborough) who investigates a serious of suspicious deaths all stemming from one house. Once she enters, the curse latches onto her and won’t let go.
Watch the clip below and catch The Grudge in theaters this weekend.
