The Bloody Mayhem Begins Anew Two Years Later in Netflix’s ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ [Trailer]

A sequel to Netflix’s 2017 horror-comedy The Babysitter is on the way this Halloween with The Babysitter: Killer Queen set to arrive on the streaming service on September 10.

McG returned to direct the film, written by Dan Lagana and Brad Morris & Jimmy Warden and McG. You can check out the official trailer and poster art down below.

It hasn’t been confirmed that Samara Weaving actually appears in the sequel but her character certainly looms over the proceedings, and the trailer teases that she *might* return…

In the film, “Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole’s trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.”

The cast includes Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Jenna Ortega, Robbie Amell, Andrew Bachelor, Leslie Bibb, Hana Mae Lee,  Bella Thorne, with Ken Marino, Chris Wylde, Carl McDowell, Juliocesar Chavez, Maximilian Acevedo, Jennifer Foster and Helen Hong.

‘Mountain Man’ – Joe Manganiello Will Battle Zombies in Upcoming Horror Movie

Keith C. Blackmore’s book series Mountain Man is headed to the screen, with Deadline reporting today that Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”) is on board to star in the film adaptation.

The actor will also produce the upcoming zombie movie.

Mountain Man tells the story of Gus, a lonely post-apocalyptic survivor facing isolation and the ever-present specter of a zombie attack, who struggles with alcohol abuse and suicidal thoughts until he discovers another survivor, a captivating woman who poses another threat altogether.”

John Lee (False Positive) will direct Mountain Man from a script by Matt Deller.

“John is a brilliant creative mind. We’ve been looking for the right thing to do together since we filmed Pee Wee’s Big Holiday and it’s finally here,” 3:59’s Joe and Nick Manganiello told Deadline. “Very excited to get to work on such weird, wild project with him.”

Film Bridge International is launching sales on the project in Cannes.

Blackmore’s Mountain Man series features 7 books, the first one published in 2011.
