Zach Cregger is reteaming with producer Roy Lee to produce the dark comedy feature Little One, and Deadline reports today that David Harbour (“Stranger Things”) has signed on.
Gaby Hoffmann (Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere) will also star in the upcoming film.
Little One will mark the feature debut of Alex Kavutskiy, who also wrote the screenplay.
Deadline details, “The film watches as a sudden change in a child’s behavior threatens to tear a picture-perfect family apart.”
While that description sounds similar to Cregger’s Weapons, don’t expect Little One to get quite that dark. Kavutskiy writes on comedic series Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat and previously directed Sundance short Squirrel and the Adult Swim special Cool Dad.
Chris McEwen (Love, Simon) will also produce the upcoming Little One, along with Amanda Phillips and Melina Torres of Soto Productions (Winner, The Assistant).
