Director Drew Hancock (Companion) is directing a horror movie titled Seasons for Amazon MGM Studios, and THR reports that Lily James (Swiped) is set to lead the cast.
The Hollywood Reporter details this afternoon, “Drew Hancock’s script is adapted from the short story by Matt and Harrison Query, which first appeared on Reddit.”
This project was originally announced under the title My Wife and I Bought a Ranch.
Here’s the official synopsis for the horror movie now titled Seasons: “Follows a husband and wife who buy their dream ranch only to discover the land is alive with ancient spirits, and survival means submitting to increasingly disturbing rituals with each turn of the season.”
Lily James will star in Seasons as the wife character.
