I’ve got something a bit interesting for this edition of Twisted Music Video of the Week. As usual, you’re going to get something with rather creepy and odd visuals. However, to my knowledge this is the first cover I’m posting and it comes in the form of Sturgill Simpson‘s country twang take on the Nirvana classic “In Bloom”.
The video itself is a rather interesting concept in that it shows a person in a small rowboat who is under siege from some leviathan-esque sea monster. Now, this person is strange in that he has a cannon for a head. Like, a literal pirate ship cannon. And you damn well better believe he uses this to protect himself. And while I don’t like how the video ends (it’s a bit too cutesy), I still enjoyed the entire product enough to bring it to your attention.
