Win a Copy of the ‘Krampus’ OST on Vinyl! (Contest)
This week saw the release of Michael Dougherty’s Krampus on home video. Proving that “…Dougherty is king of holiday horror“, the film tells the tale of a family celebrating the Yule season by bickering, squabbling, and basically forgetting all about “Christmas cheer”. As a result, Krampus, the “Anti-Santa Claus”, and his wicked minions descend upon this family. I loved this movie and how it was alternately playful but also took itself seriously, especially with the incredibly practical FX designs.
To celebrate Christmas coming in April, we want to give one lucky reader the chance to win a copy of the vinyl OST put out by Waxwork Records, which features the original score from composer Douglas Pipes! Specifically, the winner will receive the “Candy Cane” variant, which you can see below. Additionally, two runner-ups will each receive one copy of the soundtrack on CD.

Odeya Rush (Goosebumps) fights her way through an eclectic cast that includes Sasha Lane (Twisters), Elias Kacavas (“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Zión Moreno (“Gossip Girl”), Benjamin Norris (“Never Have I Ever”), Tyler Alvarez (“American Vandal”), Kirby Johnson (The Possession of Hannah Grace), Ellen Toland, Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off).
Aaron Fisher (Inside the Rain) directs from a script he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo. Uri Singer (White Noise, Experimenter) produces via Passage Pictures.
Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Scream 4, Candyman) handled the film’s special makeup effects.
