Last week, I went back to 1995 with White Zombie’s “More Human Than Human” for the TMVOTW series. Today, I’m not going back that far but we’re still gonna stay inside the 90’s for this week’s video, which is Joydrop‘s “Beautiful”, which appeared in Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed.
Looking like something out of an Alex Proyas or Wachowski movie, the video exudes a dark, depressing feel, furthering the dark and desperate lyrics of the song. The single appeared on the band’s album Metasexual, which is really solid, so definitely check it out if this song grabs you.
