Get in the Halloween Spirit with Berwanger’s “Exorcism Rock” Video (Premiere)
If you’re a fan of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark?, then this music video is right up your alley!
We’ve teamed up with rock group Berwanger to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for “Exorcism Rock”, the title track from their upcoming album. The video is a throwback to innocent and charming horror, like “Scooby Doo” or the above mentioned titles that brought a certain tongue-in-cheek attitude to the genre.
Josh Berwanger tells us:
As a kid I vividly remember the first time seeing the pilot for the Tales From The Darkside tv series “Trick or Treat” where this rich old dickhead has the entire town in his debt and for halloween he let’s the kids of the parents who owe him money search for the IOU letters in his scary mansion. If they find the IOUs the debt is deceased but in order to find the them they must go through his house he has rigged to appear haunted….No more spoilers.
We wanted to do something in the spirit of that episode and Halloween but also include a few other influences like Army of Darkness, The Gate, and 70’s Scooby cartoons.
Exorcism Rock comes out November 4th. You can check out pre-orders right here.
Director Rush tells BD:
I jumped at a chance to make a video blending live action, puppetting and animation. It has always been something I have wanted to do but never had the opportunity. “Exorcism Rock” provides a fantastic backdrop for a classic tale of naive kids hellbent for a good time. Never underestimate the power of a wicked skeleton in a haunted house… at least that’s what I always say! Enjoy being a voyeur to the tragedies that await these youngsters. It was a blast to make and (hopefully) a blast to watch. Cheers!

Memory Loss Leads to a Hospital Freakout in ‘This Tempting Madness’ Exclusive Clip
A hospital stay grows more nerve-frazzling when memory loss distorts reality in our exclusive clip from This Tempting Madness, inspired by a true story.
The mind-bending psychological thriller will be released in select theaters and on demand on June 12 via Vertical.
Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) stars as Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality.
In This Tempting Madness, “Mia awakens from a coma grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions, and her perception of reality.”
Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.
“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”
Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.
Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (Heretic, The Blackening).
This Tempting Madness is rated R for “language, violence/bloody images, and brief sexuality.”
