Summer is coming to an end but Incubus is just getting the party started with their new single “Into the Summer” off their yet-to-be-announced new album.
While Incubus isn’t the kind of band we regular here on Bloody Disgusting, the accompanying music video gives heavy homage to Joel Schumacher‘s 1987 vampire classic The Lost Boys.
The song cuts between Brandon Boyd singing in front of a fire with footage of a Michael-like character going through his own Lost Boys-inspired summer. The video is pretty great but needs more Frog Brothers. It’s also worth noting some of the score appears to be worked into the song. If you were once an Incubus fan, this is worth a Friday morning watch.
The band is heading on tour to support the 20th anniversary of Make Yourself.
