L4DMods is a great site if you want a lot of awesome downloads for your Left 4 Deads. And there is one being created right now that is going to be amazing. Basically they are taking all the Left 4 Dead 1 content and spicing it up with the new Left 4 Dead 2 goods. Just anouther reason owning these on the PC is amazing.
“We are porting all the content from L4D1 to L4D2 in form of the new VPK system which allows us to add full campaigns, skins, and soundpacks all at the double click of your mouse. We are making 2 versions of all the campaigns. One will be a straight port from L4D1 to L4D2, with the only new addition being L4D2 weapons/special infected. The other will be a brand new version of L4D1 campaigns with L4D2 features, such as daytime, hard rain effects, crescendo events, etc.”
Past the break for a bit more. “What we have done:
• Beta versions of all L4D1 maps. Currently we are about to be finished with the final version of the original No Mercy.
• All the L4D1 models are finished with arm models and expressions done. (Being happy/mad when shot etc.)
• The website is coded completely and has install instructions.
What we will be doing:
• Making L4D2 versions of all L4D1 campaigns
• Soundpacks for all the characters.”
