Argento Masterpiece ‘Crystal Plumage’ Being Remade?
During an interview with IGN, Dario Argento revealed that his breakthrough work is also circling being remade. “I think somebody also wants to remake Bird With the Crystal Plumage (laughs),” he tells the site. “I hear that somebody wants to do that, but this is much more difficult to remake because there’s a link to Italy in the 1970s, which is a little bit difficult to do. But if somebody wants to do that, okay…” In probably the first Italian “giallo” film, a writer is stalked by a serial killer after witnessing a murder attempt on one woman’s life.
