Toy Fair: NECA Announces ‘Friday’ Replicas
It’s that time of the year again, where counselors run in horror from Camp Crystal Lake. NECA resurrects everyone’s favorite momma’s boy just in time for his all new feature film. NECA is pleased to offer three new items based off the all new Friday the 13th, which will all be on display at this weekend’s Toy Fair in New York.
Jason is back and it means sheer terror for the good people of Camp Crystal Lake. Jason stands 19″ high, and features two interchangeable heads; his classic “sack” look, and the much more traditional hockey mask. Jason is fully articulated, and comes with his machete. The machete can be slid in and out of a convenient sheath on his belt.

You may end up rethinking karaoke nights with your friends after you watch the upcoming horror-comedy Bad Karaoke, set to World Premiere on Sunday, August 30 as part of Tubi FrightFest in London. You can preview the film with the official trailer below.

In the film, “When wedding band keyboardist Emily discovers an old karaoke machine in the back of a dive bar, she thinks it will lead to a fun-filled night of singing and bonding with her bandmates. Unfortunately, this karaoke machine seems to have a thirst for blood.”
“When the singing begins, so does the bloodshed.”
“When an excellent performance allows someone to be spared by the machine, the crew think they’ve figured out how to finally beat it. Proven almost immediately wrong, it takes more horrifying deaths and a visit from a mysterious stranger to realize they may have a chance at survival after all.”
Lexi Underwood (“Cruel Summer”), Case Walker (Monster High: The Movie), and Kat Cunning (Purple Hearts) star in the upcoming horror-comedy Bad Karaoke.
Chris Lightbody and Spencer Yaras wrote the screenplay.
“We were inspired to make this film after years of painful karaoke performances nearly put us in an early grave,” the directors said in a statement. “We found that many people have had near-death karaoke experiences and we wanted to play with that idea, as well as say something profound about the state of new music. But instead, we made Bad Karaoke.”
