I know a lot of you are fans of Albert Pyun’s Left for Dead, his horror Western from Argentina, and while he is in post-production on Tales of an Ancient Empire (an action/adventure flick starring Val Kilmer, Kevin Sorbo and Christopher Lambert), the writer-director revealed that he’s now prepping a new 3-D vampire film that begins lensing in the New Year. You can read all the details below.
“We are beginning the early stages of prep next week on a new film and will begin shooting January 2,” the director announced via his official MySpace. “And yes it revolves around vampires. But not the way you’d imagine. I can’t say much yet except its a hybrid of genres and will likely be shot in 3D. It’s definitely going to be somewhat experimental — if you can imagine a movie like Tales crossed with ‘Run Lola Run’. Female and Male leads, more romantic with a cluster of superhuman villains trying to wreck their relationship. It’s yet “Untitled” until all the agreements are finalized this week.”
