Giving homage to the 3-D films of the ’80s, Dimension Films has unveiled their new logo for Piranha 3D, the Alex Aja directed remake that features wonderful post-conversion 3-D work (although the actual piranha are in real 3-D). After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents. The redo swims into theaters August 27th.
