First Look at the Vampire Abby in ‘Let Me In’!!
Bloody Disgusting was provided with your first ever look at Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) as the vampire “girl” Abby in Hammer and Overture Films’ Let Me In. In the pic, it looks as if Abby had a little midnight snack. Based on the bestselling Swedish novel, “Lat den Ratte Komma In” (“Let the Right One In”), by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, Let Me In follows an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town, and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. Directed by filmmaker Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), this new adaptation arrives in theaters October 1.
Avengers: Doomsday and Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai actor Simu Liu is joining Allison Williams (M3GAN) and Michelle Randolph (Scream 7) on the sci-fi survival thriller Homewrecker, Deadline reports today.
Production is set to begin next month in Paris, France.
In Homewrecker, “During a heart-breaking domestic revelation, three star-crossed Americans are suddenly forced to work together to survive a terrifying unexplained global event that threatens to destroy life as they know it.”
Xavier Gens (Under Paris, Frontier(s)) will direct from a script by Elisa Bell (Vegas Vacation) and Travis Gordon, which has been likened in spirit to 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Producers include Denise Di Novi, Margaret French Isaac, & Oliver Scherick for Di Novo Pictures (Practical Magic) and John Zois & Warren Goz for Parallel 42 Entertainment.
Williams will executive produce alongside Michael Rothstein & Samuel Hall for North.Five.Six, which is launching sales at next week’s Cannes film market. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group co-rep domestic rights.
