Already featuring the stellar cast of Johnny Depp, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green, Bella Heathcote, Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter, Indiewire adds that Oscar nominated actor Michael Sheen (Underworld, Twilight) is circling Tim Burton’s big screen adaptation of the cult ’60s television show Dark Shadows.
The original followed the life of vampire Barnabas Collins, played by Depp, and his run-ins with various monsters, ghosts, and supernatural creatures. Penned by Seth Grahame-Smith, Warner Bros. Pictures hopes to have in theaters by 2012.
