[Exclusive] Get Haunted By The Poverty Hollow “Concrete” Video Premiere

Published

on

Bloody-Disgusting wants your Monday to start off right! So we’ve teamed up with Connecticut rockers Poverty Hollow to bring you the exclusive music video premiere of “Concrete”! Shot in an abandoned mansion, the video takes a lot of inspiration from films like The Purge and The Strangers, with a man running throughout a house while strange masked people stalk and torment him. It’s a fun, twisted video and well worth checking out below.

“Concrete” comes from the band’s self-titled EP, which can be purchased here. The band also has a few tour dates, which you can see below.

The band comments, “We had access to this crazy abandoned mansion in our town. We decided to shoot the video there, despite the fact that is was really scary at night, and filled with mold and bees. We collaborated on all the ideas for each scene with the help of our friend Conner, who manhandled the camera.

Director Conner Schuurmans adds, “Of all songs on the EP, “Concrete” has this constant running speed that really gives the feeling that someone is chasing after you. I wanted the music video to emphasize this uneasiness; the chase is never over and you are never safe.

Poverty Hollow tour dates:
July 22 – Montclair, NJ @ The Meatlocker w/ Donovan Wolfington, Toasted Plastic
July 23 – Brooklyn, NY @ Big Snow Buffalo Lodge W/ Donovan Wolfington TOONS & Frankie Cosmos
July 24 – New Haven, CT @ Fort Flesh w/ Ovlov, Donovan Wolfington
