Waxwork Records has unveiled the details for their upcoming Chopping Mall and Friday The 13th vinyl releases. For the latter, it will be the first time that the soundtrack, which was composed by Chuck Cirino, will be released on vinyl. The release includes a 180-gram fluorescent-pink disc, liner notes by Cirino and screenwriter Steve Mitchell, and full packaging artwork by Australian duo We Buy Your Kids (there will be a limited run of 500 neon yellow variants). This release will drop on July 29th.
For Harry Manfredini‘s Friday The 13th, the album will drop August 29th and feature notes from Manfredini and director Sean Cunningham with artwork by Jay Shaw. There will also be three variants: “Woodland Green and Brown haze with Blood Splatter,” “Deep Murky Green,” and “Blood Filled” (which is limited to just 100 variants).
