Ahead of its debut at Gamescom later this week, Deep Silver has released the first ever gameplay footage from Dead Island 2, which is now in the hands of Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager. The trailer really drives home the new direction, which is set firmly in over-the-top action and carnage, both of which can be unleashed with the game’s assortment of crazy weaponry. I’m really digging this, it looks like this series has finally found an area where it shines.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in early 2015.
