Video game music fans, take heed! This Saturday, starting at 5pm EST, VConcert will be streaming live via Twitch to bring you 10 hours of performances from renowned composers such as Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night), and more. This is the first time that the concert will be made available for streaming.
Mariachi Games Creative Director Mariano Latapi di Carlo explains:
VCONCERT got its start after our friend, Akira Yamaoka, visited Mexico for a special show where he performed with a mariachi band. This experience got us thinking about doing a proper show with Akira, and VCONCERT was born. It’s been a difficult ride financially, but our passion for games and game music has seen us through to our third annual concert, and we couldn’t be more happy to know that fans who can’t join us here in Mexico will also get to enjoy the show via the Twitch stream.
