[TV] “Bates Motel” Nabs Potential Psycho
Deadline reports that The Blair Witch Project vet Joshua Leonard, pictured, has joined the Season 3 cast of A&E’s Psycho prequel “Bates Motel.”
It sounds as if he’ll be a new baddie as he’ll play James Finnigan, a handsome community college psych professor whose pull toward Norma (Vera Farmiga) slowly chips away as his carefully constructed house of cards.
In addition, Gbenga Akinnagbe has booked a role on “The Following,” which is shockingly still on television. In Season 3 of the Fox thriller, he’ll play Tom, a handsome and charming Hostage Rescue Team agent for the FBI. Akinnagbe’s TV credits include “24: Live Another Day,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Graceland,” “Damages,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Good Wife” and “The Wire.”

‘Victorian Psycho’ Official Trailer – Maika Monroe Slays the Screen This September
Maika Monroe (It Follows, Longlegs) stars in the upcoming psychological horror thriller Victorian Psycho, and Bleecker Street has unleashed the brand new official trailer today.
Watch the official trailer for Victorian Psycho starring Maika Monroe below.
Victorian Psycho releases in theaters September 25, 2026.
Maika Monroe stars as eccentric governess Winifred Notty, who arrives at a remote gothic manor where strange happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems.
Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho), Jason Isaacs (Honey Bunch), Ruth Wilson, Amy De Bruhn, and “Hamnet” breakout Jacobi Jupe also star.
Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) directed the film from a script by author Virginia Feito (Mrs. March), based on her novel of the same name. Victorian Psycho is produced by Dan Kagan (Longlegs) and Sebastien Raybaud (Greenland: Migration).
Victorian Psycho is rated ‘R’ for “strong bloody violence and brief sexual material.”
Meagan Navarro wrote in her review for Bloody Disgusting, “Carnage becomes pretty dang delightful in Maika Monroe’s capable hands. Victorian Psycho operates on familiar slay grounds, but it’s an absolute blast thanks to its zany style and deranged sense of fun.”
