The Purge: Anarchy
Most of the time, horror movie sequels don’t live up to their predecessor. This made The Purge: Anarchy a bit of a surprise for me, because I went into it expecting it to be less enjoyable than the first, and I liked that movie just fine. Anarchy isn’t a giant leap forward in terms of quality, but it is a little more ambitious, and its cast is significantly more likable.
The patriotic theme that’s so integral to the plot of the films is played up by this eye-grabbing poster, which rebuilds the American flag into a shrine for enthusiasts of the second amendment. ‘Merica!
