I was alerted to the following video that immediately made me scoff.
While I genuinely hate bad CG blood, there are a lot of filmmakers who use it correctly. They do such a good job that you guys, the viewers, don’t even know that it’s fake. Thus, when you see poorly rendered blood effects, it stands out like a sore thumb.
I thought this video, which explores the use of CG blood, would miss this fact. They didn’t. Thus, their argument is sound, and I like it.
