Love it or hate it, The Blair Witch Project changed everything. 15 years later, Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick’s film continues to fascinate horror fans and general audience’s alike. I was able to interview them last year and was shocked to learn that despite the fan heavy attention/obsession with the film, there are still tidbits we don’t know.
Thankfully, FrightFest Glasgow is set to premiere the long-awaited making-of documentary about the film, but until then, here’s an awesome bit of ephemera posted by cast member Josh Leonard on his Facebook, which was then posted on the Blair Witch fan group. In my interview, Sanchez and Myrick explained their unique directing style, which was as bare bones and esoteric as it gets. In the directing note below, we get a solid taste of what the filmmakers put Josh, Heather, and Mike though.
