Attention short horror film fans! If you’ve been wanting to check out a wide variety of new films that will raise the hair on the back of your head or tingle your spine, look no further! Horror Block is hosting a contest and they want your help!
What we need you to do is head on over to the Horror Block Monstrous Video Contest homepage and cast your votes for your favorite films. There’s a ton to watch, so be sure to bring some popcorn and enjoy the films!
Horror Block will be giving away a total of $20,000 in total. There will be $10,000 for the first place winner, $5,000 for second place, $2,500 for third place, $1,500 for best effects, and lastly, $1,000 for best scream. This is your chance to really help independent filmmakers get recognition and create even more unique and original horror content, so don’t let this opportunity to help the community pass you by!
The contest will be judged by Dave Alexander of Rue Morgue, LeeAnna Vamp (official Horror Block spokesperson), Russ Montague of Nerd Block and Shirtpunch, and also by myself!
