Jesse Makkonen is an indie developer who first caught my eye with his surreal 2D horror game, Silence of the Sleep. If you haven’t played it, I suggest you get on that soon, because it may serve as the perfect introduction to this talented developer’s unique style, which can also be seen in his next project, The Human Gallery.
Makkonen’s sophomore effort is another atmospheric 2D horror side-scroller, only this time we assume the role of a painter who decides it’d be a good idea to use the mind of a murderer as a source of inspiration. Take a look.
The Human Gallery recently crept onto Steam Greenlight, so if all of the above sounds like a swell way to spend an evening, I suggest you go vote for it.
