At last night’s PC Gaming Show, Bohemia Interactive project lead Brian Hicks announced a new mode for their wildly popular zombie survival game DayZ that will cater to anyone who’s tired of being murdered for their beans. The team is working on bringing a single-player mode to the game so it can be played offline, without the fear of running into a squad of bean bandits.
Also in the works are three new vehicles, full support for Steam Workshop, and, finally, the option to host your own server. Sadly, Hicks did not offer an ETA for any of these upcoming features.
