Hard rock band Disturbed are back from their hiatus in a huge way! Not only have they announced that they have been secretly writing and recording a new album titled Immortalized, which will be released August 21st, they also have a brand new music video for their first single “The Vengeful One”, which was directed by Phil Mucci!
The video shows Disturbed’s mascot, known only as “The Guy”, taking down a television network that is essentially Cable 54, the station from They Live. The channel broadcasts subliminal messages that turn people into zombie-like creatures, a lá The Signal, and it’s up to “The Guy” to utterly destroy the station and save humanity. While the song might be rather safe, the video is anything but.
